The requirements to participate in the smart charging solution are: a compatible charger; and a wireless network (Wi-Fi) that covers the area of your recharging space (so the charger can connect to the Internet). Also, as with all Hilo solutions, you must have: a Hilo hub; a smartphone; and an account with Hydro-Québec for Rate D service.
