What is preheating?

Preheating allows you to remain as comfortable as possible during a challenge, without affecting your rewards. You simply need to let Hilo set your thermostats for you. The preheating phase is optional and can be turned on and off for each thermostat, and separately for morning and evening challenges.

When the preheating option is selected, your thermostat settings are gradually increased two hours before the start of the challenge so that the house accumulates more heat in preparation for the reduction phase.
