Eligibility

Are you eligible for Hilo?

To sign up for Hilo, you must meet the following basic requirements:

 

  • Be a Hydro-Québec customer (municipal network customers aren’t eligible)

  • Have created your Customer Space on Hydro-Québec's website

  • Have high-speed internet (at least 5 Mbps), a home Wi-Fi network, and a free, working Ethernet port on your modem or router

  • Own a smartphone or other smart mobile device

  • Use electric baseboards, convectors, heated floors, or a central heating system as your main heating source

  • Agree to enroll in Hydro-Québec's Rate Flex D
